| PHOTOS FROM OUR PERSONAL COLLECTION
Photo album, 34 x 24 cm, C-prints, 13 x 9 cm, 2005 Photographs are our personal collection, which show the two of us in the company of artists like Marcel Duchamp, Andy Warhol, and Joseph Beuys, among others. The photos are manipulated snapshots of various moments from everyday life. The two of us become central figures and some photos show our artwork in the background. Photographs from our Personal Collection explores identification with famous people from all areas of today's media driven society. Warhol's prediction about everyone in future being famous for 15 minutes, didn't quite come true. But because of the enormous impact of mass media, today everybody wants at least 15 minutes of celebrity spotlight.
