Boxes is a video installation
composed of 3 to 5 units, which function as a large interconnected
system. Each unit is composed of a rubber box, LCD monitor,
metal construction, PC and a pneumatic mechanism. Each of the
5 Boxes shows a different video of the two of us trapped in
the box. Our movements are automated, machine like and endless.
As we hit on the walls surrounding us in 2D video, pneumatic
system and software transfer our movements into actual 3D space.
